4023TT Highlights
BharatBenz has three tractor-trailers in its portfolio, and the 4023 tractor-trailer is the entry-level power-house in the 40T gross vehicle weight category. It can be fitted with a suitable two-axle trailer for applications such as steel coils, tanker, cement bulkers, or even the container/car carrier.
The prime-mover comes with the company’s high-quality OM 926 BS6 engine, which produces 241hp of power at maximum of 850 Nm of torque and tuned to a 9-speed gearbox. It gets hydraulically power-assisted steering wheel, parabolic leaf spring shock absorbers at the front suspension, and semi-elliptical leaf spring. For better control on higher speed, an anti-roll bar comes as a standard on the front axle.
The wheelbase of 3300 mm, for long-haul trips it gets a comfortable sleeper cabin. The fuel tank is 455L along with a 60L Adblue tank. The maximum gradeability of this tractor-trailer is 26.2%, and 25.8%, the turning circle diameter is 12.8.
